Big
Bear Lake is nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains
to all
of Southern California. Only two to three hours from
the Los Angeles and San Diego areas, Big Bear is a
favorite four
season resort.
Wintertime finds many
people enjoying skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing.
Average temperatures are usually moderate
and the skies are sunny. There are two ski resorts and
the Alpine Slide for fun.
During the summer, the
lake is the main focus. The lake is seven miles long
and filled with trout and bass. Besides fishing, the
lake is great for watersports including water skiing,
wake boarding and kayaking.
Big Bear is surrounded
by National Forest and has lots of hiking trails
and back
roads for
mountain biking and off
road driving. Stop by the Discovery Center to pick
up trail maps. Whether you're a weekend
warrior or simply looking to relax, Big Bear has it
all! Give us a call and we will be happy to help you
plan your Big Bear escape. |
