POLICIES AND INFORMATION

Check-in locations: Check-in between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at our office - 713 Pine Knot Ave., Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. Check-in after 5:00 p.m. at All Protection Alarm – 41937 Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $10.00 key fee for after-hours check-ins.

Check-in and check-out times: Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. on scheduled day of arrival provided that the prior guest left on time and all needed cleaning has been completed. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. on scheduled day of departure. Late check-outs are subject to an additional nights charge, plus tax. NO late check-outs can be offered between the dates of December 20 – January 4.

Minimum stay requirements: We generally have a 2-night minimum for non-holiday reservations. For Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day, we have a 3-night minimum. For Thanksgiving, we have a 4-night minimum. For Christmas and New Years, we have a 5-night minimum. We do have 1-night stays available. Please call (800) 693-0018 for information.

Cancellation Policies: We have a 14-day cancellation period for non-holiday reservations. If cancelled less than 14 days prior to check-in, the entire rental amount will be forfeited. We allow NO CANCELLATIONS for HOLIDAY reservations. There is a cancellation fee of 10% of the reservation or $75.00 – whichever is greater.

Security Deposit: A security deposit is required for each reservation. The deposit will be held on your credit card and voided after check-out provided that the cabin was left in a clean and satisfactory condition with no breakage or loss. A minimum of $50.00 will be deducted from your Security Deposit if any cleaning or repairs are needed to return the property to its original condition.

Pets: Pets are welcome in select properties – see description. The charge is $10.00 per night per pet. If a pet is taken into a property which is not “pet-friendly”, a minimum cleaning charge of $100.00 will be deducted from your Security Deposit and/or you will be immediately removed from the property with NO REFUND.

Occupancy: Each cabin is privately owned and each has a maximum number of people (adults and children) that are allowed by City Ordinance to occupy the property. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, all guests will be immediately removed from the property with NO REFUND. Noise curfew is from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Any disturbance of neighbors or neighborhood is grounds for immediate removal from the property with NO REFUND. Please respect others and do not be a nuisance.

Code of Conduct/”Notice Agreement”

You are a guest in Big Bear and are staying in a Residential Area. You are expected to respect the neighborhood and those around you! PLEASE BE COURTEOUS TO ALL!

RESPECT NEIGHBORHOOD TRANQUILITY. Disturbing the peace of the Residential Neighborhood you are occupying is a City Ordinance violation. Please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

OBEY OCCUPANCY LIMITS. Each property is licensed to accommodate a certain maximum number of people, day and night. Overcrowding poses a fire danger and is disrespectful, not to mention illegal. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY!

DISPOSE OF ALL TRASH PROPERLY. Only dump trash in a designated “Clean Bear Site” provided by the City of Big Bear Lake. Please be sure to take all trash upon check-out as leaving any trash behind is disrespectful and a Code of Conduct violation.

DO NOT DISPOSE OF ASHES FROM FIREPLACES OR BAR-BE-QUES. Our housekeepers and management will take care of ash disposal from all cabins.

PARK VEHICLES APPROPRIATELY. The City of Big Bear Lake Ordinance limits the number of cars allowed to be parked at each property and this number is clearly posted on a sign at each property. Parking more cars than are allowed at the property is a violation of this Ordinance. Please remember to use common sense – DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAYS, STREETS OR CORNERS. Keep your vehicle(s) parked in the designated driveway ONLY. During the Winter months, when snow conditions exist, avoid large fines and the towing of your vehicle – DO NOT BLOCK THE SNOWPLOWS OR PARK ANYWHERE ON THE STREET!

ANY VIOLATION OF ORDINANCE OR CODE OF CONDUCT BY ANYONE IN YOUR PARTY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EJECTION OF EVERYONE FROM THE PROPERTY WITHOUT REFUND OF RENTAL CHARGES OR SECURITY DEPOSIT, AND POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL CITY IMPOSED FINES. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL!
